Football Queensland is delighted to announce a partnership with National Australia Bank (NAB) as official banking provider.
NAB is a huge advocate of Australian football, and has been for many years through their involvement with the Caltex Socceroos, Westfield Matildas and NAB Young Footballer of the Year, and we are thrilled that NAB’s involvement with the beautiful game now extends to football in Queensland.
NAB Head of Customer Acquisition for QLD, Ross Gillam, said NAB was passionate about supporting grassroots Australian sport.
“We have partnered with the FFA since 2005, and it has been a joy to watch the Socceroos’ journey over that period,” Mr Gillam said.
“We are pleased that journey now also encompasses football in Queensland.”
Football Queensland CEO Geoff Foster welcomed NAB’s continuing investment into football.
“It’s extremely pleasing to see that companies of the size and scope of NAB are committed to developing and growing our game not just at a national level, but at a state level as well,” Mr Foster said.
Further details on a number of exciting NAB-backed initiatives for 2018 will be released shortly, including a program to recognise and reward the tireless work of volunteers who keep the beautiful game running.
