Gold Coast City will host a massive Westfield FFA Cup Quarter Final on Wednesday 20 September, when they take on South Melbourne FC at CBUS Stadium in Robina.

If history is any indication, this Quarter-Final clash will go down to the wire. The two sides met in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32, where City prevailed following a nailbiting penalty shootout.

Both teams had remarkably similar 2017 seasons in PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues.

City finished second in PS4 NPL Queensland before losing a home Semi-Final 3-0 to eventual Champions Western Pride, while South Melbourne also finished second, in PS4 NPL Victoria, but crashed out of the Semi-Finals after a penalty shootout defeat to Bentleigh Greens.

With the winner heading into the Westfield FFA Cup Semi-Finals, this is not a match to be missed.
