Top plays bottom and the battle for fourth place up for grabs in Round 15.
SWQ Thunder v Souths United
Gatton Football Club
Saturday, 26 May, 3:00pm
Top v bottom out west
Can the Thunder cause a big upset in Gatton on Saturday afternoon?
Souths have won their last nine matches, averaging over 4 goals per game. The Thunder have lost their last four, conceding 27 in the process.
Additionally the Thunder have lost all four of their previous games in Gatton so far this season and were defeated 4-2 at Wakerley Park back in February.
Eastern Suburbs v Gold Coast United
Heath Park
Saturday, 26 May, 6:00pm
Seventh heaven for Gold Coast and Easts?
Easts were 4-1 winners over Logan in round 14, taking over Gold Coast’s spot in seventh on the ladder in the process after United suffered a 3-1 reverse against Mitchelton, their first defeat after a run of three unbeaten matches.
Gold Coast won the reverse fixture at Station Reserve 3-1 and have won three of their last four away games by an average margin of six goals.
Lions v Logan Lightning
Lions Stadium
Saturday, 26 May, 6:00pm
Can Lions extend unbeaten home run?
Lions bounced back after suffering their first defeat of the season – a 3-1 loss to Souths United – in emphatic fashion with a 7-0 Friday night thumping against Capalaba.
The hosts are unbeaten at Richlands this season and with The Gap not playing this week, another win on Saturday night will extend the margin between the two sides to four points.
Logan suffered their first defeat in four matches last week at home to Easts but were hammered 6-0 by Lions last time they met at Cornubia Park.
Mitchelton v Sunshine Coast Wanderers
Teralba Park
Saturday, 26 May, 6:00pm
Inconsistent Mustangs welcome Wanderers
Mitchie have been horribly inconsistent of late, winning just two of their last five with one draw and two defeats thrown into the mix.
However they have only been beaten once at Teralba Park this season and will expect to continue that fine record against a Wanderers side that have lost five of their last six games.
Despite this, both of the Wanderers victories this season have come away from home, meaning that the visitors might just fancy their chances to cause an upset.
Moreton Bay United v Capalaba Bulldogs
Wolter Park
Saturday, 26 May, 7:00pm
Jets hope to blast past Bulldogs
Moreton Bay have a chance to both narrow the points difference between The Gap who sit in third and bounce back from their narrow loss to Souths United when they take on Capalaba on Saturday night.
That defeat ended a six game winning run from the Jets and despite the fact that the ninth placed Bulldogs are coming off a mid-week win over Mudgeeraba, the hosts will surely back themselves to secure their tenth win of the season.
Mudgeeraba v Western Pride
Sid Bigg Park

Pride hope to shine against Mudgeeraba
Mudgeeraba are back at Sid Bigg Park for the first time in four matches as they hope to recapture the winning feeling they experienced in their last game at home against the Thunder in Round 11.
Standing in Mudgee’s way of a third win of the season is a Pride side that ran in 11 goals to 0 at Briggs Road in February and have just ended their six game winless run with a 7-1 victory over the Thunder.
Catch the game live on the Football Queensland Facebook and YouTube channel this Sunday afternoon from 3pm.
