NPL QUEENSLAND
It will be a battle between two clubs with a rich history of competition tomorrow night, with Lions FC hosting Brisbane City in the Brisbane Classico derby in Round 6 of the NPL Queensland.
Season so far:
After losing their first match of the season, Lions have found their winning streak, defeating their opposition in their next three matches.
A free kick from Andy Thompson and a Marek Madle brace gave the team the victory against Eastern Suburbs and their third consecutive win last weekend.
Brisbane City have had a relatively balanced start to the season, winning three of their first five matches.
After suffering two losses in a row, Brisbane City managed to find their form last weekend to secure a win against Moreton Bay United thanks to Adam Edgar and Kai Fiechtner goals in the second half.
Last time they met:
Brisbane City walked away with the three points last time these two met, defeating Lions 1-0 in Round 14 last year.

NPLW QUEENSLAND
Coming off the back of draws in their last matches, both Gold Coast United and Logan Lightning FC will be eager to secure a win in the NPLW Queensland Match of the Round.
Season so far:
Gold Coast United have had a strong start to their 2019 season, conceding just three goals in their first three matches to remain undefeated ahead of Round 4.
A super strike from Rie Kitano, her first goal for the club, helped her team to a draw last week against the Sunshine Coast Wanderers.
Logan Lightning are also yet to record a loss this season after a Round 1 win, a Round 2 bye and a draw last weekend against Capalaba Bulldogs.
Last time they met:
Gold Coast United came out on top last time these two clubs faced each other, defeating Logan 4-1 in Round 25 of last year.
Gold Coast will be hoping to showcase their strong teamwork like last match, having four separate goal scorers including current player Mackenzie Akins.
Logan meanwhile will be looking for their squad to rise to the occasion if they are to continue their strong start to the 2019 season.

The FQPL Round 2 Match of the Round is set to be an exciting one, with Mitchelton determined to hold onto their ladder lead while Rochedale Rovers will be on the hunt for their first win of the 2019 season.
Season so far:
Mitchelton had an impressive win last week, defeating Holland Park Hawks 5-2 in their first match of the FQPL season thanks to doubles from both Owain Thomas and Carter Glockner.
Rochedale had to settle for just one point in their Round 1 draw to Souths United.
South’s Kado Aoci scored the opening goal before Benjamin Njie evened things up for Rochedale, scoring a goal in the 54th minute.
Last time they met:
Mitchelton FC and Rochedale Rovers last went head-to-head in Round 19 last year with an impressive performance by Mitchelton earning them the three points.
Former Mitchelton player Mustafa Jafari was a standout of the game, scoring a hat trick in the clash but has since moved to Moreton Bay United for the 2019 season, so Mitchelton will be looking for some attacking players to step up in his absence.
