International Football Coaching Conference Australia (IFCCA) is pleased to welcome FC Internazionale Milano, also known as Inter, to the conference to be held at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast on May 25 and May 26 2019.
Inter is renowned globally as one of the most successful football clubs in the world, and since its inception in 1908 has secured 18 Italian league titles, seven (7) Coppa Italias and three (3) UEFA Cups, among many others.
Inter is also the only Italian club that has never been relegated, and one of only seven teams to have claimed the national championship, national cup and Champions League in the same year (2010).
Inter’s world-famous youth academy has produced many footballers who have gone on to play in major leagues in Europe, with the Inter Academy stemming from this success to invest in the development of coaches and players around the world.
Inter Academy Technical Director Marco Monti and Inter Academy Coach Benjamin Musci will join IFCCA to give delegates an insight into the methodology used at the club’s renowned youth academy.
“The standards of our training methodology are very high,” Marco Monti said.
“The experience we have in youth football and the successes we have achieved were the reason why we decided to share all around the world what we do at our Academy in Milan.
“What motivates us to export our methodology is the desire that every child can have the opportunity to grow and train with our high technical and ethical standards, where mistakes are considered the first step in improving.”
Monti and Musci will join IFCCA to deliver both an on-stage presentation and an on-field demonstration of the Inter Academy methodology, which places importance on the development of coaches, as well as young footballers.
“We believe that to enhance local coaches’ ability is a crucial step in order to build an excellent football structure at youth level,” Marco Monti said.
Inter Academy Technical Director Monti boasts extensive experience as both a player and a coach, having played for SS Lazio and BC Atalanta in Serie A, and working as Head Coach for FC Internazionale Youth Sector teams for over ten years.
Inter Academy Coach Musci will join Monti at IFCCA to demonstrate the club’s youth academy philosophy and how delegates can draw on the Inter methodology to refine their own coaching approaches.
IFCCA will bring together experienced football professionals from around the world to share knowledge with coaches of all levels, from grassroots and community coaches to those in the National Premier Leagues and at professional clubs.
