The full draw for the 2019 Football Queensland (FQ) Futsal State Titles has been released ahead of the event, to be held on Saturday, 20 April and Sunday, 21 April 2019.
Teams from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Redlands United will compete along with Ipswich, Bundaberg and South West Queensland futsal teams to become champions within their age group, and the overall champion region.
2019 will see the State Titles being held across venues from North Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast area with the following venues hosting the subsequent age groups:
Caloundra Stadium: 13 Girls, 15 Girls, 17 Girls & 12 Boys
Morayfield Sports Complex: 11 Boys, 14 Boys, 15 & 16 Boys Combined
Buderim Clippers Stadium: 9 & 10 Combined & 13 Boys
The FQ Futsal State Titles are a major part of the State Metro Team talent identification and selection process.
A selection committee will be present at the State Titles, choosing 20 players to join the Metro Squad who will then train together before the final 10 players selected for teams will go on to compete in the 2020 FFA Futsal National Championships.
Gold Coast Futsal are defending title holders, after the region secured two age group championships and the overall points tally in 2018.
