Football Queensland (FQ) is pleased to announce the release of the 2020 National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland Women’s competition draws.

The release of the draws for the Under 13, Under 15, Under 18 and First Grade competitions follows extensive consultation with clubs.

In a major boost to coverage of the game in Queensland, all NPL Queensland Women’s First Grade matches will be live streamed in 2020 and available to watch live on the FQ YouTube channel.

This year’s NPL Queensland Women’s season will kick off on Saturday, 22 February as 2019 Grand Finalists Moreton Bay United host Logan Lightning, before Gold Coast United travel north to take on Eastern Suburbs in a Round 1 clash.

Mitchelton FC will get their season underway against Western Pride on Saturday night, while QAS will meet a new-look Capalaba FC side in their first match of the season.

Two Sunday matches for Round 1 will see last year’s top four side Gap FC travel to play SWQ Thunder, and last year’s Premiers and Champions Lions FC will take on Souths United in their first match of the season.
