Football Queensland (FQ) has today confirmed fixture details for the opening rounds of the inaugural Kappa Women’s Super Cup competition.
Kicking off next Friday, 5 March, the opening rounds of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup include Round 2 matches for South East Queensland and Mackay sides, and Round 1 and 2 fixtures for other regional zones.

South East Queensland
The Kappa Women’s Super Cup will kick off in Round 2 for South East Queensland sides, with nine fixtures scheduled on the opening weekend of the competition from Friday, 5 March.
Teams from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and South West Queensland will go head-to-head to book their spot in Round 3, which will also welcome a number of sides who drew byes in Round 2.
Mackay
Round 2 of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup for Mackay sides will see Magpies FC host Country United at Sologinkin Oval on Friday, 5 March, before Mackay Rangers take on Mackay Lions in the second Round 2 fixture to be held on Saturday, 6 March.
Central Queensland
Four Central Queensland sides will go head-to-head in Round 1 of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup. Capricorn Coast FC will welcome Frenchville FC on Friday, 5 March, while Clinton FC will face Central FC on Saturday, 6 March.
Bluebirds United meanwhile will take on Nerimbera FC in Round 2, with other Round 2 fixtures to be confirmed shortly.
North Queensland
MA Olympic will welcome Brothers Townsville for a Round 1 Kappa Women’s Super Cup clash on Saturday, 6 March in the sole North Queensland match of the opening weekend.
The winner will then go head-to-head with Saints Eagles Souths in Round 2 for North Queensland.
Far North Queensland
Round 1 of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup in Far North Queensland will see Innisfail United and Stratford Dolphins go to battle for a spot in the next round, with the match to be held on Saturday, 6 March.
The winner of the Round 1 clash will then come up against Mareeba United in Round 2 of the Kappa Women’s Super Cup.
