Football Queensland has today confirmed after a unanimous decision from all Sunshine Coast clubs that the MiniRoos season will now commence on Saturday, 23 April.

Due to the recent significant flooding and associated impacts to Sunshine Coast clubs, the new date will ensure all clubs have time to prepare their facilities and for training to recommence with minimal interruptions to all participants.

Clubs can continue to bolster their squads with new players during this time with final team nominations closing on 8 April.

Football Queensland thanks all clubs for their feedback and support in making this decision and is looking forward to welcoming participants back for the new season.
