Football Queensland has been working through the many challenges presented by the recent wet weather impacting the Sunshine Coast region and are pleased to confirm the event will proceed as planned following safety and field inspections conducted this morning.
Additional rain cover has been provided at the venue, however attendees are also encouraged to wear warm, waterproof clothing. All attendees should take extra care when moving around the facility as the ground conditions may be slippery in places.
Spectators will be required to remain outside the field of play (including sidelines) to protect the condition of the fields. These field of play areas will be roped off to clearly designate where access is not permitted. Please be patient and courteous to fellow spectators, particularly if using umbrellas.
Attendees are also reminded to observe Football Australia’s National Spectator Code of Behaviour, including being respectful to team and match officials.
The car park at Maroochydore FC remains open and accessible via the Maroochydore Rd service road. Please be mindful of the conditions when entering and exiting the car park, and where possible organise to carpool with fellow teammates to reduce congestion.
