Football Queensland is aware of false and misleading allegations recently made as part of a persistent public smear campaign via social media, against the state governing body, designed to undermine the constructive and collaborative relationship with the clubs of the Central Coast region and Region Committee, and the positive work undertaken over the last 24 months.  

False allegations were made by an individual, one of which stated that Football Queensland was being investigated by Football Australia, specifically pertaining to matters regarding the personal agenda of this individual. Football Queensland is not being investigated and Football Australia has instructed the individual to remove the post; to date, this individual has not. 

Football Queensland continues to engage proactively and positively with the Central Coast Region Committee and local clubs, within the accountable and mandated governance structure of federated football in Australia. FQ looks forward to further strengthening these relationships with the Central Coast football community throughout 2023; we welcome feedback and engagement through established and formal channels for the betterment of the game and the local community.
