Football Queensland (FQ) is pleased to welcome the return of Adrian Elmes in the role of FQ Region Manager – Wide Bay. 

As an FA/AFC B Licence coach with an impressive resume as Sports Coordinator at Fraser Coast Anglican College and within Football Queensland as a former Club Development Ambassador, Elmes holds intimate knowledge of the football landscape in the Wide Bay region. 

“I’m excited to be back with Football Queensland in a more involved format and I look forward to building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the region, including clubs, councils and local government, which will help the Wide Bay football community thrive in 2023,” FQ Region Manager – Wide Bay, Adrian Elmes said. 

 “I’m looking forward to the future ahead, growing the game in the region and meeting the needs of the community.” 

“This is an exciting appointment for the Wide Bay football community as they will gain a new point of contact who will be looking to build strong relationships within all clubs in the region,” FQ Acting General Manager – Central Coast Region, Jordie Gerbes said. 

“We’re thrilled to have Adrian join the team; he will be an invaluable asset moving forward and I am confident he will bring a great level of knowledge and experience to the role.”
