Football Queensland (FQ) is delighted to announce the return of the F-League in 2025, with eight clubs confirmed for the upcoming men’s and women’s competitions kicking off on the weekend of July 26-27.
Returning for its fifth year, the continued success of the F-League competition has reflected futsal’s rapid growth at a state level supported by Football Queensland’s ongoing investment in the game.
“The return of the F-League is a hugely exciting time for us; the competition is a fantastic opportunity for the state’s premier futsal talent to showcase their ability on a statewide stage,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“The F-League is a product we are tremendously proud of and it allows us to develop a strong pathway to the top tier of competition in Queensland, creating a connected futsal pyramid in our state.
“The F-League’s ongoing success is a reflection of our dedication to investing in futsal and supporting growth and high-quality playing opportunities at every level of the game.”
The 2025 F-League competition will kick off on the weekend of July 26-27 and will feature 14 rounds, with a full home and away format and the introduction of a full 20-minute stop clock this season, before the Grand Finals are held on Sunday, 14 September at Nissan Arena.
2024 F-League Men Premiers Gold Coast Galaxy will return to defend their title this year, while reigning F-League Women Premiers Crusaders Futsal Club will be searching for their fifth straight Premiership as the competition returns.
