The Intercity Shield is an exciting junior tournament showcasing the best talent from across the Central Queensland region.
Players participating in the tournament will get a taste of playing for their region at a representative level and for players in the Under 12 to Under 16 age group to have the opportunity to be selected for the FQ Community Cup.
The tournament is also a valuable experience for the coaches involved, with coaches from each region able to experience coaching at representative level.
Games are played between Central Queensland regional areas of CQ North (Rockhampton), CQ South (Gladstone), CQ North West (Central Highlands) and CQ North East (Capricorn Coast).

Age Groups: Under 10 – Under 16
Cost: $50 per player
Players
Each player representing their region at the Intercity Shield will receive a playing kit (property of FQ Central) and an Intercity Shield jersey to be kept by the participant.

Coaches & Facilitators
Each region must facilitate their own trial dates and times but it is recommended trials take place between late April – early May.
