Women and girls are the future of football, and the time to embrace that potential is now. With the increase of Women & Girls in football each year, it is important for clubs to understand the benefits of becoming female friendly and the positive effect it has on the game.

Female Football Week
Female Football Week is a nation-wide initiative aimed at promoting female participation and celebrating the contributions of women and girls across all parts of the game.
Zones and clubs across Queensland are invited to join FQ every year in celebrating Female Football Week by hosting events or initiatives throughout the week.
Dates for celebrating Female Football Week in 2022 will be announced early next year.
A program for women and girls within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, designed to eliminate the unique barriers members of CALD communities experience.
This is an introductory program to football with weekly sessions for young girls to build confidence while learning the basic skills of the game without the added pressure of performing in games against other teams.
