The #EQUALISER Club Infrastructure Project Portal is designed to support clubs in planning and delivering their infrastructure projects in the lead up to and after the federal election.
This portal provides a streamlined process for clubs to submit key project details, ensuring FQ can help clubs in effectively advocating for funding and support from government representatives, candidates and stakeholders.
#EQUALISER FEDERAL ELECTION campaign
This federal election campaign is focused on empowering Queensland’s football clubs to engage directly with their local federal representatives from all political parties.
Following the success of the #EQUALISER state election campaign last year, which secured a record $28 million in pre-election project commitments – the highest of any sport – FQ is now shifting its advocacy focus to the federal stage, ensuring our clubs can maximise this opportunity for crucial infrastructure investment.
2025 #EQUALISER CLUB WEBINAR
To help clubs prepare for the federal election phase of the #EQUALISER campaign, FQ hosted a club webinar designed to guide club administrators across the state on how to leverage the upcoming federal election to their advantage.
The webinar covers a range of essential topics, including looking back at the successes and lessons from the #EQUALISER state election campaign, how clubs can position themselves for federal election funding, project readiness, and the steps clubs need to take to engage with federal candidates and advocate for investment in their local football facilities.
#EQUALISER CLUB TOOLKIT
Football Queensland’s #EQUALISER club toolkit is now available for all clubs to download to help equip them with essential resources to advocate for equitable football facilities and funding from local representatives ahead of the 2025 Federal Election.
The toolkit provides visual and written assets to assist clubs in advocating online, planning events, and engaging with local MPs and candidates, ensuring clubs are well-prepared to articulate their infrastructure needs and secure crucial funding support while spreading the #EQUALISER message.
