fq welcome
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all players, referees, parents, and supporters to the first FQ Academy carnival of the season, especially those who are attending an academy event for the very first time.
Our first event of the season always presents a terrific opportunity for our FQ Academy players from across the Central Conference to play and compete against each other. It is such an important part of the player development process, as it allows our technical staff the chance to assess player’s performance according to the program syllabus.
Our parents, families, and coaches play a vital role when it comes to improving player actions in competitive matches. To assist the players, we ask that spectators refrain from over-guidance from the sidelines. We understand that parents and families will be enthusiastic with their support and encourage supportive cheering from the sidelines.
Across the weekend we aim to create an atmosphere that allows our players the chance to express themselves on the pitch, where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged.
I would like to wish all players, coaches, and referees the best of luck in their matches and I look forward to seeing all players performing out on the pitch.
