Girls United Soccer Mums is for women who are struggling to find the time to get active and engage in sport. Club sessions can be run in parallel to your child’s training session, so that you can jump out of the car and have a run around while the kids are supervised at training! Community centres and other organisations can also run Soccer Mums as a mums and bubs style program. Women of all ability and experience levels are encouraged to attend, with sessions focusing on fun, fitness and friendship.
Host/Facilitate
Clubs can run Girls United Soccer Mums Programs in parallel to their junior training sessions. This is a great way to engage more women at your club! Other organisations and community groups might like to host Soccer Mums similar to a mums and bubs style program. Click here to host a program.
We also need enthusiastic, engaging and positive people to get involved as facilitators. No experience necessary, just a great attitude and a love of football… and fun! Click here to become a facilitator.
Participate
When you have children, finding time for yourself can be a real challenge. Girls United Soccer Mums aims to help women get active and enjoy some “me time!” You may have never kicked a ball before and are keen to try something new… Perhaps you stopped playing sport a while ago and you’re missing it… Girls United Soccer Mums might just be the answer for you.
Girls United Soccer Mums sessions are a ‘judgement free zone,’ with our wonderful facilitators ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued. The focus is on fun – it’s all about getting active, building confidence, and sharing a few laughs with like-minded women along the way!
