Football Queensland is excited to launch the FQ Academy Discovery Centre across the Wide Bay region, providing opportunities for U7 & U8 boys and girls to receive additional coaching.
With the launch of centres in Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough, FQ will deliver additional training sessions to complement club-based training for players born in 2015 & 2016.
Training sessions are focused on 1v1, running with the ball and the ABC’S; agility, balance, co-ordination and speed. As the focus of training sessions is on building a solid base of fundamental movement skills, no position-specific training is embedded into the Program.

Bundaberg and Hervey Bay Term 3 programs are at capacity. FQ Holiday Clinics will be advertised in due course for interested participants, with clinics set to be held in Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.
