Football Queensland is now accepting applications for FQ Futsal State Metro coaching positions (volunteer role), with opportunities available across all junior and senior teams.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview for appointment, with successful applicants required wherever possible to be involved as selectors at the 2021 FQ Futsal State Titles on 9 and 10 October.
All State Metro coaches will be expected to attend coaching meetings and professional development training where applicable, weekly squad training and travelling with the teams to the Football Australia National Futsal Championships in January 2022 on the Gold Coast. Successful coaches will be involved as team selectors from October to December for the Football Australia National Futsal Championships.
Aspiring coaches must have achieved, or emailed an expression of interest to attend, and a Football Australia Community Futsal Coaching Licence.
You will also be required to hold a current Blue Card and abide by the Coaches Code of Conduct and Football Queensland Policy and Procedures.
All travel, accommodation and meals for the 2022 Nationals – to be held in January – will be provided, as well as a remuneration payment for services.
Football Queensland will also provide apparel for all coaches to wear whilst performing their duties.
Football Queensland intends to nominate the following teams for the 2022 Nationals:
- 12 Boys, 13 Boys, 14 Boys, 15 Boys, 16 Boys
- 13 Girls, 15 Girls, 17 Girls
- Youth Men (Under 19) & Youth Women (Under 19)
- Open Men’s and Women’s
- Open Athletes With Disabilities (AWD) Team
