What is Harmony Week?
It is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, the successful integration of migrants into our community and the diversity of our world game.
Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.
FQ’s Harmony Round is held at the conclusion of the week and showcases the important role football plays in uniting communities of all cultures and backgrounds.
All clubs across Queensland are encouraged to join FQ in recognising and celebrating Harmony Week through the opportunities listed below.
Recognising Our Diversity
Football brings people together by breaking down barriers and building inclusive communities.
Everyone has a place in our game whether it be on or off the field. Whether you are a participant, volunteer, referee or spectator, people of all ages and cultures come together to enjoy the world game here in Queensland.
We’re proud of the diversity of our Queensland football community, with the world game uniting people of all backgrounds and cultures across the state.
