As the number of participants involved in football has grown, talented young footballers have been presented with an ever-increasing number of opportunities to play the game in different environments.
Most of our Socceroos and Matildas developed their skills and were identified by participating in clubs and competitions sanctioned by state and member federations such as Football Queensland.
FQ delivers professional, integrated and clear elite development programs for boys and girls throughout Queensland.
FQ has in place a rigorous process for identifying and selecting players for elite programs. These include the Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) and Talent Support Program (TSP).
