The Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) 3 is the top-flight competition in Metro North & South, connected to the rest of the state via the FQPL framework.
Established in 2022 as part of the Future of Football 2020+ reforms, the FQPL 3 sits within the SEQ Conference and includes 12 teams from the Ipswich, Logan, Brisbane & Moreton Bay regions.
The FQPL SEQ Conference underpins the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland through a system of promotion and relegation.
In 2022, The Lakes FC secured the FQPL 3 Men’s Premiership in a narrow contest over St George Willawong. St George Willawong beat Bayside United in the Grand Final during extra time 3-2 to claim the Championship title.
