Peninsula Power continued their raring form, earning another win under their belt. Dean Briggs scored a double with Thomas Strickland and Mitchell Bird adding to the 4-1 win.
A back-and-forth of goals ensued throughout the first half, including a fantastic bit of skill by Preston Hugo for the game’s first goal, before Gold Coast United took control of the second half to secure the 4-2 win.
Despite trailing in the first half, Lions managed to bounce back and secure a draw against Moreton Bay United.
Brisbane Roar’s two game winning streak came to an end with the only goal of the match coming from Redlands United’s Godfrey Debele.
