Lions FC vs. Moreton Bay United
NPLW Queensland Premiers Lions FC secured the Premiership-Championship double thanks to a 3-1 win against Moreton Bay United in the 2019 Grand Final. A Lauren Askin goal in the 21st minute proved only consolation for Moreton Bay as a Tegan Riding brace and Mariel Hecher goal led Lions to Grand Final glory.
Semi Finals
After a Tanesha Stanley goal levelled scores in the dying minutes of the game, keeper Cassandra Zaffina proved the hero, saving two penalty shoot-out goals to send Premiers Lions FC to the 2019 NPLW Queensland Grand Final.
An Allira Toby brace in the space of just four minutes helped Moreton Bay United book their spot in the 2019 NPLW Queensland Grand Final, where they will come up against Premiers Lions FC in the battle for Grand Final glory.
Elimination Finals
A thrilling contest at Cornubia Park between The Gap and Eastern Suburbs ended with a late decider, as The Gap earn a Semi Final clash with Moreton Bay United following a 3-2 win.
A first half goal for Rie Kitano was the difference as Gold Coast United edged past Capalaba FC in their NPLW Elimination Final, setting up a Semi Final against Lions FC.
