Girls United Social Football is all about fun, low-key, inclusive sessions and games for women to boost their confidence, build fitness and make friends. The programs are designed to cater to women and girls of all ages and ability levels through fun football activities and small sided games. Programs can be run at clubs, universities, parks and community centres. Women of all ability and experience levels are encouraged to attend, with sessions focusing on fun and enjoyment, rather than competition. A great option for women who haven’t got the time to commit to the traditional training and game format of club football, or for those who want to build their skills and confidence before moving into a club football team.
Host/Facilitate
Clubs can run Girls United Social Football programs as a recruitment tool to help build their female football program or a retention tool to keep women and girls involved in the game for longer. Click here to host a program.
We also need enthusiastic, engaging and positive people to get involved as facilitators. No experience necessary, just a great attitude and a love of football… and fun! Click here to become a facilitator.
Participate
You may have never kicked a ball before and are keen to try something new… Perhaps you stopped playing sport a while ago and you’re missing it… Maybe you’re not interested or don’t have the time to commit to the traditional training/game format of competitive sport…
Girls United Social Football Programs can be an awesome alternative to club football, or a stepping stone into (or back into!) a club team.
Whoever you are, whatever your background, Girls United Social Football is an inclusive environment for everyone! Sessions are a ‘judgement free zone,’ with our wonderful facilitators ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued. The focus is on fun – it’s all about developing skills, getting active, building confidence, and sharing a few laughs along the way!
