Girls United Celebrating Diversity is a fun football program for women and girls within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities, designed to eliminate the unique barriers members of CALD communities experience when participating in football.
Girls United Celebrating Diversity provides an opportunity for:
- Participants to engage in football in an inclusive environment and develop strong relationships
- Clubs to engage players from a range of communities and cultural backgrounds, and build their women and girls football program.
Each session in the 8-week program explores both a football skill and a key social and emotional principle through specifically designed football activities and purposeful, safe discussions. The football sessions are delivered in a powerful, positive and inclusive learning environment.
