Football Queensland’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children
Football Queensland has a zero tolerance approach to any form of child abuse and is committed to ensuring football is a safe environment for our MiniRoos and junior players, coaches, referees and volunteers.
Child safety is embedded in our organisation’s culture, reflected in our policies and procedures, and understood and practiced at all levels of our game as we work to ensure children and young people who access our activities, programs, events or services feel safe and supported.
From club administrators and volunteers to parents, coaches, referees and participants, each member of our football community is responsible for child safety and fostering an environment with minimal risk or danger where children feel respected, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential both on and off the field.
