The Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL) Sunshine Coast Women’s is the top-flight competition on the Sunshine Coast, connected to the rest of the state via the FQPL framework.
Established in 2022 as part of the Future of Football 2020+ reforms, the FQPL Sunshine Coast Women’s sits within the SEQ Conference and includes 8 teams stretching from Gympie to Caloundra.
The FQPL SEQ Conference underpins the National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland through a system of promotion and relegation.
The FQPL Sunshine Coast Women’s replaces the Sunshine Coast Premier League Women’s, which in 2021 Beerwah Glasshouse United claimed the Premiership title, while Nambour Yandina United secured the Grand Final.
