Round eight of the FQPL saw a host of tight matches as teams begin to find rhythm and harmony. Goals still rained in however, and the leaders remain on a roll as the mid-table pack fight for their place.
Round eight is upon us as teams go toe-to-toe for ascendancy on the ladder. Who will maintain their climb towards the top? Will the mid-table teams find consistency, or will those at the bottom find a breakthrough?
The NPLW ladder is beginning to take shape after round seven, with the top four stamping their claims while mid-table teams showing they have potential to challenge.
Plenty of big results across round seven of the FQPL. The top five changed again as teams tussle for their place in the top half of the table.
Round six provided a couple of talking points as teams rebounded from heavy round five defeats and attempted to patch their leaking defences. Round seven is another test as teams build upon what they’ve learned. What will be the talking points after this round is done?
The NPLW took on more twists and turns as it roller-coastered its way into round six. Rain again played a role in the fixtures with two games to be rescheduled, with The Gap momentarily sitting behind Souths United at the top of the table.
Another round of the FQPL was marred by wet weather over the weekend, which saw a number of fixtures postponed. This round didn’t quite see the big scores of round five, but there was plenty of action and no lack of talking points.
