Football Queensland is excited to launch a Goalkeeping Development Program in the Wide Bay region based at the Fraser Coast Sports Precinct.
Goalkeepers of all skill levels can participate in additional specific training to complement their club sessions designed by FQ Academy Goalkeeping Development Coach Dale Hill and delivered by local FQ coaches.
Players will be trained on the key technical and tactical requirements of the modern day goalkeeper and focus on the following during sessions:
- Handling and shot-stopping
- Dealing with crosses
- Responding to cut-backs
- 1v1 situations
- Distributing the ball
- Balls beyond the defence

Dates: Fridays, 21 July – 15 September (No sessions 28 July)
Venue: Fraser Coast Sports Precinct
Cost: $80 ($10 per session)
Ages: U10 – U13
Session Times: U10 – U11: 4:00pm – 4:45pm | U12 – U13: 6:45pm – 7:30pm
