Football Queensland is pleased to announce a partnership with World Sport Action (WSA) to be the Competition Management software solutions provider for the 2023 and 2024 Football Queensland seasons.
World Sport Action’s online competition management solution is called Squadi and is available online and through Google Play and the App Store.
Squadi will include all formats of football competitions in Queensland; Futsal, Advanced FQ Competitions (including FQPL/FQ Academy), Community Competitions (MiniRoos, Juniors, Seniors Divisional), Social, Programs, and Referees.
Over the past two years, World Sport Action has tailored Squadi to streamline all facets of football in one single competition management system, including referee appointments, fixturing, results, ladders, statistics, disciplinary functions, online team sheets and a match day solution, removing unnecessary duplication of effort for our clubs, participants and volunteers.
Play Football will continue as the National Registration System as per the National Registration, Status and Transfer Regulations for the 2023 season in agreement with Football Australia.
Following a quick and simplified registration in Play Football, participants will be redirected to Squadi where they will create a profile to be used for online team sheets and all other aspects of the competition management system.
All fees, including Governing Body Fees (Football Australia and Football Queensland) for 2023 Football Queensland competitions are required to be paid online as part of the Squadi process, requiring the selection of the specific competition or product by the participant. Multiple payment options are available including instalment and payment plans.
Once a Profile is completed in Squadi, and the competition or product is selected, the participant will then be eligible to participate in football in 2023.
Football Queensland and WSA will be providing access to Squadi for all clubs in early December. Online training, troubleshooting and user setup sessions will be conducted with clubs throughout December and early January as Football Queensland and WSA deliver a roadshow across Queensland with workshops in each regional centre.
Football Queensland will continue to explore opportunities for simplified systems and processes to enhance the user experience and ensure easy access to football for all participants across the state.
