Providing a clear development pathway that is accessible to those outside the FQ Academy advanced program, the FQ Academy Discovery Centre delivers a fun and age-appropriate learning environment that underpins FQ Academy and club-based programs.

Designed to be accessible for players outside the FQ Academy advanced program, the FQ Academy Development Centres deliver a planned and consistent approach to training based on principles of long-term player development to support players’ progression within the game.
FQ Academy Goalkeeping Development Program
The FQ Academy Goalkeeping Development Program allows goalkeepers of all skill levels to participate in additional technical and tactical training delivered by Football Queensland coaches to complement their club sessions.

Football Queensland has released the Stakeholder Engagement Calendar for 2026, detailing key milestones and frequency of meetings with clubs, referees and region committees as FQ continues to drive towards its club centric, customer service model with consistent and regular engagement with members of the football community in every region across the state 📅
This extensive statewide engagement, supported by the implementation of FQ`s new Customer Service Booking Portal housed on the FQ Club Support Hub, will culminate in October`s Queensland Football Convention as participants and clubs come together to shape the future of the game.
