FQ Club Referee Program
The innovative FQ Club Referee Program creates a simple, flexible journey that lets young referees start with their club and advance into FQ refereeing when they’re ready.
FQ Accredited Club Referees will support the smooth operation of youth competition fixtures within the familiarity of their home club environment. They will also gain access to direct support, learning, development & education from the Football Queensland Referee department – supporting young referees to further enhance your refereeing abilities and skillset.

Become an FQ Referee
If you are not currently registered on the new PlayFootball 2.0 platform you will need to register before logging into etrainu. If you have never registered as a referee before, you need to register as a ‘Referee Learner’ account.

If you are unable to register for a course, please email referees@footballqueensland.com.au with the following details:
- Course name
- Preferred date and location
- Participant name
- Date of birth
- Email address
- FA number (if applicable)
