DELIVERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR TALENTED QUEENSLANDERS
Football Queensland undertakes a long-term, repetitive and rigorous talent identification process for FQ Academy players.
Each player’s development is captured through FQ’s Talent Identification Database, a system that tracks and categorises players based on their football attributes and physical measures to provide the best opportunities for talented Queenslanders.
This database is accessible to state and national team coaches to provide them with in-depth insights and provides players with a unique identifier to support their progression to state and national teams.
How FQ Identifies Talent
-
Player Identification
Players are identified by their club or FQ talent identification staff from the age of 12 to 21
-
Database Logging

-
Performance Tracking Measures

-
Invitation to Camps and Events
