Football Queensland is proud to deliver Future Club+ again in 2026, building on the strong foundations established in its inaugural year.
This year, Future Club+ evolves into a targeted ‘Club Lab’ webinar series designed to help clubs get more from the tools they use every day. With a focus on Squadi functionality, each session is built to provide practical, hands-on guidance that improves efficiency, strengthens governance, and reduces the administrative load on volunteers.
Across the series, clubs will learn how to streamline key processes, engage and retain members, and plan their seasons with greater confidence. Sessions will cover areas such as Notice of Offer, ticketing and merchandise, referee management, fixture flowing, and club-based programs.
Future Club+ remains a key part of FQ’s commitment to supporting clubs with practical solutions, continuing the conversations started through the Queensland Football Convention and the Club Support Hub, and turning them into meaningful, on-the-ground outcomes for clubs across the state.
The biggest moments belong on the biggest stage. ✨
Last night, Jerson Lagos provided a moment of magic with a sensational strike, before Jacson Riley delivered in the shootout with two crucial saves as @lionsfc1 advanced in the Hahn @australiacup.

Make your club heart safe 24/7 thanks to @stayingalivehealth ❤️
Thanks to Football Queensland`s partnership with Staying Alive Health, affiliated clubs can now apply for a fully funded Community Heart Safe Grant valued at more than $15,000.
Successful clubs will receive life-saving equipment, accredited first aid training and ongoing support to help create a safer environment for players, coaches, volunteers and the wider community.
With limited grant allocations available, eligible clubs are encouraged to register their interest before applications close on 31 August.

Lions FC`s Hahn @australiacup dream lives on after a stunning penalty shootout victory over A-League side Perth Glory, with goalkeeper Jacson Riley emerging the hero after two crucial saves in the shootout.
It was an impressive overall performance from the #NPLQLD league leaders, who matched it with their professional opponents for 120 minutes before keeping their cool in the penalty shootout to book their place in the Round of 16.

Knights march into the Final 🏆
