Football for all, for life
At Football Queensland, we are committed to ensuring that football is the game of choice for all, for life. Through our inclusive programs, we strive to provide opportunities for everyone to participate in football, regardless of background, ability, or age.
Our inclusion work supports culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities through initiatives like the Multicultural Settlement and Youth Programs, fostering belonging and connection. We also create accessible opportunities for people with disabilities, promoting participation and enhancing well-being, and offer Walking Football to encourage older Australians and those seeking a more social, low-impact way to stay active and connected through football.
Aligned with our strategic goals, Football Queensland’s inclusion programs celebrate diversity, foster community engagement, and demonstrate our commitment to making football accessible to all Queenslanders. Join us as we continue to grow the game and ensure that football truly is for all, for life.

The new weekly referee appointments process reflects a coordinated approach between Football Queensland, referees and clubs ⚽
FQ start with their allocations, followed by referee self-appointments and conclude with club-managed appointments, each stage contributing to a clear and efficient system leading into match day.
By combining structured processes with strong collaboration, this model supports a more transparent and effective referee pathway across the state.
