The National Premier Leagues (NPL) Queensland is the state’s premier football competition. The NPL operates under a single banner in each Member Federation and underpins the A-Leagues.
The NPL Queensland operates in a league format, with promotion and relegation between the FQPL 1 connecting the NPL Queensland to the statewide Football Queensland pyramid.

With 3-2-1 votes awarded by match officials for every match throughout the season, based on match impact, consistency, game intelligence and conduct, the race for both awards has been fiercely contested.
Congratulations to all players recognised for their outstanding performances throughout the 2026 season. The winners will be revealed at the Queensland Football Gala at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday, 10 October.

After a breakout season with Lions FC in the #NPLQLD following his selection in the 2025 Queensland State Team, Emmet has continued his rise through the football pathway. This year, Shaw lined up against the Queensland State Team as a member of Brisbane Roar, delivering a standout performance and scoring a brace in the fixture.
His journey is a fantastic example of the Queensland State Team pathway in action, helping develop, showcase, and elevate some of Queensland’s brightest football talent.
