FQ Academy Advanced Centres
FQ Academy Advanced Centres operate in Metro, Wide Bay, Central Coast, Whitsunday Coast, Northern, Ayr and Far North & Gulf regions and provide services in line with the criteria set for Tier 1 clubs in South East Queensland.
Delivering an enhanced development environment, players represent their region at carnivals and events throughout the year while remaining connected to their local clubs by playing in regional competitions.
An extensive range of services are provided to FQ Academy players including on-field technical and tactical sessions delivered by advanced coaches, classroom-based learning, access to performance and wellbeing technology, nutritional guidance and custom Kappa teamwear.
Advanced Coaching
The program will be led by advanced licenced coaching staff who receive consistent mentoring and training during the season. Coaches will monitor players development and progression with regular reporting and analysis conducted during match weeks and at carnivals.

Minimum standards
Players compete against South East Queensland clubs and regional FQ Academy teams with coaches assessing players for talent identification and National team selection.

Coaching methodology

Coaching development and investment
Identified South East Queensland club-based players are invited to participate in the FQ Academy Metro Program (boys) or the FQ Academy QAS Program (girls) via a year-long talent identification process.
Advanced Centre Events
FQ Academy QAS players will attend a range of State and National talent identification events to track their development and compete for selection in representative events. Events form a crucial part of the player development program where coaches can monitor players, capture footage for analysis and provide feedback.

Regional Carnivals
Regional FQ Academy carnivals are designed for talent identification and data gathering and allow players to implement key skills and learning from training sessions in a game-based environment against peers from neighbouring regions.

State Carnivals & Events
State Carnivals provide an opportunity for players to face opposition from across the state while FQ Academy coaches gather data for ongoing talent identification and potential state team selection.

Representative Events
The National Youth Championships provide an opportunity for selected players on the FQ Academy pathway to represent their state while showcasing their talent on the national stage, presenting a valuable talent identification opportunity for potential national team selection.

The Futsal State Titles are locked in... are you? 🔒
The pathway to the Mitre National Futsal Championships 2027 is officially set. This October, the Futsal State Titles return to Nissan Arena, where the Junior teams will compete for their opportunity to represent Queensland on the national stage.
The Youth teams will also compete at Ripley on an international-sized pitch, replicating the national competition environment as they prepare for the next level.
