Following feedback from the community and after further consultation with the Football Queensland Congress, the FQ Board has confirmed it will retain the existing 2026 fee structure for the 2027 season.
After seven years without an increase to player enrolment fees, modest adjustments have been made for 2027 to reflect inflation and changes in how transaction and technology costs are treated. We know decisions like these have a real impact on people across our game.
We are committed to acting in the best interests of the game, while listening carefully to our community. We won’t always get things right, and in this case we accept that we could have done better. When we need to, we are prepared to do things differently, reconsider our approach and keep working towards the best outcome for football across Queensland.

From grassroots football to representing Australia as Socceroo No. 542, Robbie Kruse’s journey has been shaped by the people around him. 👏
At the #QLDFootballConvention, Robbie explored the making of a professional footballer and reflected on the vital role coaches play, not only in developing talent, but in guiding players as people.
