FQ Academy Trials
Football Queensland has confirmed player identification session dates for Under 9 to Under 16 players interested in joining the 2027 FQ Academy program.
The FQ Academy delivers a more consistent and visible pathway for aspirational footballers which is quality-controlled and accredited by Football Australia.
The program aligns the Queensland player pathway with the national development and Talent ID system, linking junior players to the Matildas and Socceroos.
With trials beginning in September in each region, players interested in joining an FQ Academy program can fill out the below forms to register an expression of interest.

With a total funding pool of $40,000 available to help sports clubs create better spaces for players, spectators and the wider community. Your club could receive a grant of up to $10,000 towards premium Australian-made Felton outdoor furniture, including grandstands, shelters, seating and park settings. @brisbaneroarfc’s Hahn @australiacup journey has come to an end, but not without a fight. A spirited comeback effort was backed by an incredible crowd at Spencer Park, whose passion and unwavering support highlighted everything that makes the Queensland football community special.

@swqthunderfc and @grangethistle have both secured promotion to the 2027 QPL 1 Men`s competition, a reward for their outstanding campaigns and a milestone achievement for both clubs.
However, the fight for silverware is far from over. With just one point between the sides, the Premiership race will go down to the final round.
