Peninsula Power continue to dominate
Peninsula Power continued their dominant run in the FQPL on Saturday evening with an outstanding 12-0 victory against Wide Bay Buccaneers.
Jordan Dozzi joined the High Rollers Club with four goals, while Alexander Warrilow and Joshua Woolley both scored hat-tricks.
An 86th minute goal to James Fairgrieve and an own goal rounded out the scoring for the away side who remain undefeated after 20 rounds of the FQPL and are 16 points clear at the top of the table.
Wide Bay Buccaneers remain without a win so far this season.

Eagles leave it late to secure win
Goals in the opening and dying minutes of the game ensured Southside Eagles claimed the three points against Mitchelton on Saturday night.
Jordan Maxwell opened the scoring for the home side in the third minute of play, before Mitchelton hit back with a 15th minute goal to Kosi Yannakopoulos.
A draw looked certain as both teams remained goalless in the second half, until Jordan Maxwell found the net for the second time in the dying moments of the game to secure the win for Southside Eagles.

Souths claim fourth spot
Souths United jumped into the top four after defeating Capalaba Bulldogs 2-0 on Saturday night.
First half goals to Kado Aoci and Jack Cabassi secured the three points for the home side who kept Capalaba Bulldogs scoreless.

Ipswich and Logan share the points
Ipswich Knights and Logan Lightning were held to a draw on a goal-filled Sunday afternoon at Eric Evans Oval.
A Zander Guy double and a 65th minute goal to Jed Brown saw Logan take the lead with 15 minutes remaining, but a 90th minute goal to Ipswich’s Nahom Woldu ensured the teams had to split the points.
Second half goals to Ipswich’s Giuliano Marconato and Emmanuel Peter rounded out the scoring for the home side.
Despite only taking home one point, Logan Lightning remain in second spot after 20 rounds of the FQPL.
