Founded in 1984, LaLiga (Liga de Fútbol Profesional) is a sports association comprising the 41 teams that make up the first and second divisions of professional football in Spain.
Based in Madrid, LaLiga is responsible for the LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 123 leagues, and their television production which reached more than 2.7 billion people in the 2017/2018 season.
“LaLiga is delighted to be partnering with IFCCA. We believe that developing coaches is key to building football at the grassroots level and beyond,” LaLiga said.
“LaLiga, as the best league in the world has successfully developed and equipped the best football coaches with a great understanding of the successful Spanish football methodology.
“Thanks to this partnership with IFCCA we will be able to support them, and bring a Spanish football flavour to Australia.”
In addition to having an active foundation, the association is also the world’s first professional football league with a league for intellectually challenged footballers (LaLiga Genuine Santander).
IFCCA will bring together experienced football professionals from around the world to share knowledge with coaches of all levels, from grassroots and community coaches to those in the National Premier Leagues and at professional clubs.
