Football Queensland (FQ) is advising against participation in outdoor football following Queensland Health’s bushfire smoke alert.
Queensland Health has advised that Queenslanders should limit their time spent outdoors due to the deterioration of air quality as a result of bushfires impacting regions across the state.
The state’s Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young issued a formal alert yesterday and is urging people across Queensland to stay indoors for the next 24 to 48 hours to limit their exposure to smoke.
