Football Queensland (FQ) has announced another four upcoming Club Summits to be held in the coming weeks.
FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci will travel to the Sunshine Coast, Mackay and Central Queensland to host the Club Summits, with clubs, coaches and referees invited to attend to discuss the future of the game.
“As part of the statewide Future of Football 2020+ consultation process, we’ve so far hosted six Club Summits across the Gold Coast, South West Queensland, Wide Bay, Far North and North Queensland regions,” Cavallucci said.
“To date we’ve consulted with hundreds of coaches, referees, technical staff and zone administrators alongside representatives from 50 clubs across Queensland, who have all had their say and contributed to the future of our game.
“Across each of the consultations the local football community has been engaging and productive, and it has been encouraging to see first-hand the football community’s enthusiasm in helping to shape the future of football in Queensland by sharing their feedback and opinions on how we should lead the game, run the game, play the game and fund the game.
“We look forward to hearing from more stakeholders from across our game as we hold the next four consultation sessions in the Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Gladstone and Rockhampton.
“I encourage all clubs, coaches and referees from these regions to take this opportunity to contribute to the future of football by registering to attend a Club Summit.”
