Teams from across South East Queensland and New South Wales will go head-to-head this weekend as Football Queensland’s inaugural Beach Soccer Champions are crowned on the Gold Coast. 

The draw has today been released ahead of the first-ever Beach Soccer carnival at Coolangatta Beach this Saturday, 22 January which will be run in partnership with Major Events Gold Coast & Destination Gold Coast. 

The Men’s competition features five teams from across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Wollongong in New South Wales, while three sides from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast will compete in the Women’s. 

Two fields will play host to matches throughout the day before the Men’s and Women’s Grand Finals are held back-to-back on Field 1 at 3:30pm and 4pm respectively. 

Get down to Coolangatta Beach from 9:30am this Saturday to enjoy the carnival atmosphere and catch all the action!
