Football Queensland has conducted an investigation into MA Olympic FC in relation to the eligibility of players participating in the McDonald’s FQPL Northern Men competition.

Following this investigation, it has been determined that MA Olympic FC fielded two (2) players in the 2023 McDonald’s FQPL Northern Men competition who were ineligible to play due to suspension in accordance with section 11.8 of the Football Queensland Disciplinary Regulations and section 4.6b of the 2023 Football Queensland Rules of Competition.

Accordingly and in line with the Football Queensland Rules of Competition, the following sanction has been determined:

• Twelve (12) points will be deducted from the MA Olympic McDonald’s FQPL Northern Men team

Football Queensland will continue to work with the club to ensure compliance with the Rules of Competition moving forward.
