Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to announce a new partnership with PILA as its Official Goal Posts Partner and preferred supplier of football goal posts for FQ clubs and community.
With a 40-year manufacturing history, the Australian owned and operated brand has been a trusted provider of a range of world-class field hardware that has featured on iconic grounds such as The MCG and SCG, Suncorp Stadium and Stadium Australia across multiple sporting codes.
The partnership will extend to FQ clubs statewide as they gain benefit from May this year to PILA’s financially incentivised Goal Post Subsidy Program for an affordable opportunity to upgrade their goal posts.
“Football Queensland is excited to partner with Australian owned companies like PILA who prioritise safety in manufacturing of high-quality and regulation compliant goal posts that are built with Australian-made sustainable materials to stand the test of time,” Football Queensland CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“We are proud to announce this partnership with PILA as they are a trusted and reliable supplier for football clubs nationwide and align with FQ’s commitment to improving the football experience for Queensland footballers.
“As the preferred supplier to our clubs, PILA and FQ will launch the PILA Goal Post Subsidy Program in May, where all FQ clubs can access discounted pricing and exclusive grants to help them upgrade their goal posts.
“Football Queensland is committed to maintaining these vital partnerships and we are looking forward to building a strong partnership with PILA as we work together to support the continued growth of the game.”
PILA’s Managing Director Reece Wooldridge underscored the importance of conducting thorough research prior to investing in sports equipment.
“Our track record speaks volumes – some of our customers are still using football goal posts they purchased from us two decades ago, showcasing the enduring quality and value of our products, and yielding substantial returns on their investment.
“At PILA, we embody the philosophy that quality endures. Opting for a cheap product usually leads to rapid deterioration associated with cheaply manufactured and imported football goal posts and results in double spending
“Common problems such as peeling powder coat, rusting bolts and components, and weak goal frames that sag render these purchases low in value and potentially expose venue owners and operators to liability issues by failing to meet Australia’s rigorous safety and compliance standards,” Wooldridge said.
