Football Queensland (FQ) is excited to celebrate the season recommencement by today launching the Community Noticeboard, a dedicated hub for Queensland clubs and zones to share news, events and more.
Now live online at footballqueensland.com.au/communitynotices, the Community Noticeboard has been developed as the go-to place for all the latest local football updates across four categories: News, Jobs, Events and Kudos.
“With the launch of the Community Noticeboard, we’re opening up the communication channels between our clubs and zones and the wider footballing family,” FQ CEO Robert Cavallucci said.
“The FQ website receives a high level of traffic with over 120,000 monthly average page views this year, and more than 1.3 million total page views in 2019, making it the perfect place to reach the Queensland football community.
“We often receive requests from clubs to promote upcoming events and job openings, so we’ve developed the Community Noticeboard to support our clubs and zones, creating a go-to space for these announcements to be housed while reaching beyond their usual audience.
“It could be used to advertise a new coaching position, to promote a come-and-try day, or to congratulate players, referees, coaches and club members on special achievements as some examples.
“Whatever the occasion, we want our clubs and zones across the state to benefit from FQ’s large online following and marketing capabilities to reach the wider football community.”
Posts can now be uploaded using the Community Noticeboard submission form.
FQ invites all administrators to get involved and encourages players, coaches, referees and volunteers to check back regularly for the latest updates from their local club and zone.
