We wish to thank everyone who has volunteered their time and effort into making a start into the cleanup!

We are continuing tomorrow from 09:30am for anybody who is able to volunteer any part of their day.

We will be going all day and into the night.

Training is still on as we request the players assist with cleanup for the duration of their training and any time they can offer.

Below is a list of items we require for assistance as we currently have no power available to the club until electrical repairs are carried out.

Equipment to help:

Generators, Lights, Pressure washers (petrol powered ideal), Stiff Bristled Brooms, Shovels, Hoses (To Connect Pressure Washers), Electrical Cords (To Connect Pressure Washers), Basic Tool Kits (Philips Heads, Snips, etc.), power tools ( we will have a 4wd with 240V inverter at some stage to recharge batteries), garbage bags. Cleaning supplies (spray n wipe, chux cloths, etc.)

Theon (Club Secretary) will be at the club from 09:30am and will be able to guide volunteers what is required.

We wish to reiterate that due to flood water going through the entire clubhouse. Electrical components that are damaged are not to be plugged in to any sockets no matter what. Even though we have no 240v power, this does not mean there may be residual energy stored.

Any mechanical items are also not to be started or primed until we have had our resident mechanics carry out repairs on these (mowers, generators, air compressor).

We again wish to thank anybody who can assist with this. We are devastated as a club, but the community coming together to repair the damage shows what Westside is about and the direction we’re heading.
